2019 Project of the Year

This historic renovation involved raising the original foundation and adding onto the existing structure. During this extensive renovation we aimed to repurpose the building materials of the existing structure. We repurposed many of the log beams in different areas of the home. The new addition added more living space to the overall floor plan and increased the views and light. Dan Murphy was the architect. The finished product is a warm, contemporary home Located in historic downtown Crested Butte.

Owner Goals:

Increase living space, update and revive the historic structure
