2019 Project of the year for a rehabilitation and an addition to a historic residence

This historic renovation involved raising the original foundation and adding onto the existing structure. During this extensive renovation, we aimed to repurpose the existing structure’s building materials. We repurposed many of the log beams throughout the home. The new addition added more living space to the overall floor plan and increased the views and light. Dan Murphy was the architect. The finished product is a warm, contemporary home located in historic downtown Crested Butte.
